RMUTI ranks 2nd in the “Green University 2023” of the Rajamangala University of Technology, ranking 19th in Thailand.

Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) Revealed that the results of the green university evaluation rankings Under the name UI Green Metric World University Ranking, which is ranked by University of Indonesia for the year 2566 that this year RMUTI was able to grab 2nd place from the group of Rajamangala University of Technology and 19th place out of 55 universities nationwide and 286 out of 1,183 universities around the world. For RMUTI has joined the ranking of world green universities ( UI Green Metric World University Ranking), which this year is the 6th year and has continuously improved ranking results as follows

Year 2018, ranked 529th in the world, 26th in Thailand

Year 2019, ranked 506th in the world, 29th in Thailand

Year 2020, ranked 453th in the world, 28th in Thailand

Year 2021, ranked 431th in the world, 25th in Thailand

Year 2022, ranked 309th in the world, 21th in Thailand

andFrom the announcement of the results of the World Green University Ranking 2566 (UI Green Metric World University Ranking 2023) On December 5, 2566, which Rajamangala University of Technology Isan received 7,350 points from 6 evaluation criteria. These are 1. Location and utility systems (Setting & Infrastructure) with 1,150 points. 2. Energy management and climate change (Energy & Climate Change) with 1,100 points. 3. Garbage or waste management (Waste) with 1,425 points. 4.Water use gets 650 points 5.Transportation system management (Transportation) got 1,425 points and 6.Education & Research got 1,600 points. Resulting in being ranked 286th in the world, moving up 23 places from the number of universities worldwide that participated in the ranking, totaling 1,183, ranking Thailand 19th out of 55 Thai universities that entered. join and was able to win 2nd place out of 9 Rajamangala University of Technology and was ranked 1 of 4 green universities in the Northeastern region.
