On April 29, 2569, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan by Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon RMUTI President along with Assistant Professor Prapan Yaowarat Vice President of Khon Kaen Campus, Assistant Professor Dr. Suphakit Chamonkhonpradit The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering led a team of expert faculty and researchers, including: Professor Dr. Panthakan Kaewasa, Assistant Professor Dr. Angkhana Charoenmee, Professor Dr. Wittaya Chamnanphai Ajarn Athit Piachin A field visit was conducted to implement the technology transfer project "Raising Thai Tilapia in Rubber Rubber Ponds Controlled by an IoT Smart Farm System" to drive modern agriculture and enhance the potential of community enterprises at the Wangtham Integrated Fish Production and Processing Community Enterprise Group, Non Pha Daeng Village, Nangua Subdistrict, Nam Som District, Udon Thani Province.
This project is the work of a research team that received fundamental funding in fiscal year 2569. Its objective is to apply research knowledge to practical situations in the field, focusing on solving labor cost problems and developing more efficient and precise fish feeding processes and fish quality control systems.
in this regard Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon The President of RMUTI, along with faculty and researchers, visited the area to transfer technology to farmers in a community enterprise group. Wing Commander Yosawat Phatiphanomrat, Chairman of the Wangtham Integrated Fish Production and Processing Community Enterprise, provided a presentation on creating a model community, generating employment for local residents, the OTOP fermented fish production process, and marketing. The aim is to apply research knowledge to address issues such as labor costs, improving fish feeding processes, and enhancing fish quality control systems.
The technology transfer for this research project is scheduled to take place on April 29-30, 2569. Activities include installing fish ponds, an automatic feeding system, and an IoT smart farm system to increase production efficiency, coupled with close knowledge transfer to local farmers. On April 30, 2569, the research team will provide information to the media from Thai PBS television station to disseminate their findings to the public.
