Assistant Professor Supathinee Kornsingh The director of the Academic Service Institute reported on the objectives of the event, which was attended by a large number of representatives from government agencies, the private sector, and the community, including the President of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Tourism Industry, the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Federation of Industries, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Public Health Office, the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization, and community enterprise groups in the area, at the Imperial & Convention Center Korat.
This workshop was organized by the Chunhawan Institute for Academic Service and SME Development, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, with the main goal of improving the quality of life and solving problems of people in the Northeast through social enterprise mechanisms. This is achieved by applying appropriate health knowledge, innovation, and technology in real-world settings. The event included special lectures and panel discussions from distinguished national experts, including:

- Special lecture on “Linking Area-Appropriate Health Mechanisms and Designing the RMUTI Ecosystem” by… Associate Professor Dr. Panupong Phutarak Assistant to the Vice President for Research and Innovation, Faculty of Pharmacy, Prince of Songkla University (PSU).
- The seminar "Voices from Communities & Enterprises" provided a platform for representatives from entrepreneurs, community enterprises, and network partners to exchange experiences, reflect on problems, needs, and expectations regarding the role of universities in contributing to local development.
In the afternoon, the organizers conducted a workshop consisting of: Associate Professor Dr. Bundit Kritakhom The process involves studying and analyzing the problems and needs of the area (Needs Assessment / R1), leading to two key workshop phases:
- Workshop 1: Analyzing Area Potential and Designing an Ecosystem (Health Ecosystem Mapping) Together, we will analyze the problems, existing resources in the area, potential, and opportunities for developing innovations.
- Workshop 2: Co-Design - Designing Mechanisms for Social Enterprises in the Health Sector. Together, we will design operational models, the roles of universities and partner networks, approaches to practically applying technology and innovation, and management models to ensure sustainability.
This event marks a significant step for RMUTI in applying health knowledge, research, and technology to address community problems effectively. It also summarizes the brainstorming sessions to develop an action plan and assign concrete tasks for implementing the work in each area.
