
On June 14-15, 2568, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Faculty of Science and Liberal Arts, in collaboration with the Academic Service Institute of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, organized the project “Coding for Kid Workshop with MIT Scratch, Generation 2” at the Computer Laboratory 34-707, Faculty of Science and Liberal Arts Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The event was honored to have Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekkachai Saejueng and Asst. Prof. Thanin Rabiapho, lecturers from the Computer Science Program, Faculty of Science and Liberal Arts, and students from the program as the knowledge transfer participants.



For the Coding for Kid Workshop with MIT Scratch, this is the 2nd batch, with participants being youths aged 8-12 years old. The objectives are to create knowledge, understanding, and practical training on the use of MIT Scratch tools, developing worksheets, and creating their own work, to practice sequential thinking skills, practice creativity through creating games and animations, and build good relationships between students and teachers. This activity not only enhances technological capabilities, but also helps strengthen relationships between students and teachers through a variety of worksheet activities, which is considered to be laying the foundation of important digital skills for the future of youth in Thailand.
