On September 14, 2569, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, through Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sripootorn, President of RMUTI, revealed that the university prioritizes the transformation into a "Green University," focusing on efficient resource and environmental management, coupled with energy conservation and the creation of tangible and continuous environmental awareness.
Recently, the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology (OARIT) of RMUTI successfully passed the Green Office and Green Library assessment for the year 2569. The assessment team was from the Green Library Club of the Thai Library Association under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The Green Office received a score of 96.15 in resource and environmental management, placing it in the G Plus category. The Green Library scored 94.37, meeting the evaluation criteria, reflecting the efficient and continuous management of resources, energy, and the environment.
This success is due to the collaboration of management, personnel, and all stakeholders who have jointly driven measures to reduce resource consumption, manage waste properly, conserve energy, and develop the library into an environmentally friendly learning resource, in line with the principles of sustainable development under the concept of "A learning resource that integrates technology and is environmentally friendly."
The Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, RMUTI, is committed to continuously developing its green office and green library initiatives. It will expand knowledge through its "coaching team" to support both internal and external university units in improving their environmental performance, preparing for green certification, and jointly driving society towards sustainability.
