A graduation ceremony was held for students who completed their studies in the academic year 2569, under the project "1 Command, 1 Educational Institution: Developing People, Developing the Armed Forces, Developing the Nation". Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon The President of RMUTI and the Chairman of the Council of Presidents of Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUTI), and... Mr. Anupong Suksomnit The Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Province attended the ceremony as an honored guest.

Before the ceremony begins. Lieutenant General Adul Bunthamcharoen The Minister of Defence visited the Hall of Fame of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan and participated in a press conference with the executive committee before traveling by electric tram to the Watanyu Na Thalang Auditorium to watch a video summarizing the project's achievements. Mr. Anupong Suksomnit The Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Province welcomed the participants and...Associate Professor Dr. Khosit Sriphuthon, President RMUTI presented the objectives and achievements of the project to the chairman of the ceremony.

For the 2026 academic year, a total of 24 military cadets graduated, comprising 1 vocational certificate (Vocational Certificate Level 1) graduate and 23 higher vocational certificate (Higher Vocational Certificate Level 2) graduates. These graduates cover five fields of study: Business Computing, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive and Modern Vehicle Technology, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. This reflects the successful integration of academic knowledge, technology, and military discipline to develop quality personnel into truly "practical graduates." In addition, a ceremony was held to present certificates of appreciation to military instructors who played a supporting role in the teaching and learning process, and to 200 personnel from the 2nd Army Area (1/2026 enlistment) who completed competency development activities under this project.

The ceremony also included the awarding of two scholarships and educational support grants, including a scholarship from the Minister of Defence to... Major Yutthana Simcharoen Master's degree students in Civil Engineering, to promote educational opportunities and develop workforce potential, including the awarding of scholarships from the President of RMUTI. Ms. Wachirayan Pinyosuk Under the policy to assist families of military personnel affected by the unrest along the Thai-Cambodian border, the aim is to sustainably improve the quality of life for military personnel and their families.

After the certificate presentation. Lieutenant General Adul Bunthamcharoen The Minister of Defence stated that he felt greatly honored to participate in the graduation ceremony under the "1 Command, 1 Educational Institution: Developing People, Developing the Armed Forces, Developing the Nation" project. This reflects the power of cooperation between the Royal Thai Army and educational institutions in concretely developing the country's human resources. He congratulated all graduates on their perseverance, patience, and determination that led to their academic success. He noted that this achievement marks the beginning of their journey to becoming vital contributors to society and the nation, in their professional careers, official duties, and as quality citizens. He also affirmed that the Ministry of Defence will continue to promote cooperation with educational institutions to provide educational opportunities for military personnel, their families, and the public, as well as support the development of curricula that meet the country's needs in industry, technology, security, and sustainable community development.

Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon The President of RMUTI stated that the project is an integrated collaboration between Rajamangala University of Technology Isan and the Royal Thai Army, specifically the 2nd Army Area Command. Its key objective is to develop the potential of military personnel, staff, and the public by providing them with knowledge, professional skills, technological competencies, and ethics – fundamental to developing quality human resources for the nation. The university, as a vocational and technological higher education institution, recognizes the importance of creating educational opportunities and integrating cooperation with all sectors to jointly create human resources who are knowledgeable, capable, disciplined, and possess a sense of public service. Furthermore, the university has contributed scholarships to the families of military personnel who sacrificed their lives, honoring and commemorating their virtues, sacrifice, and courage in serving the nation – serving as valuable examples for Thai society.

Following the ceremony, the executive committee visited special projects by graduating and current students, as well as research and innovation projects from Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, the Royal Thai Army (specifically the 2nd Army Area Command), and the private sector and partner networks. These included projects such as an AI system for measuring urine color levels of new recruits, tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), military robots, and the "Good Soldier" project, reflecting the role of technology and innovation in developing human resource capabilities and fulfilling national security missions.

This collaboration under the "One Command, One Educational Institution: Developing People, Developing the Armed Forces, Developing the Nation" project is another strategic partnership that reflects the role of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan in integrating knowledge, research, and innovation with the security sector to develop the country's human resources, create educational opportunities, improve the quality of life for military personnel and their families, and ultimately strengthen national security sustainably.
