The meeting took place in the Ruang Phueng Meeting Room at the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization.
This discussion focused on integrating collaboration between agencies to support the establishment of a local resource database covering 334 locations throughout Nakhon Ratchasima province. The key objective is to collect knowledge about unique local plants in each district to create a large-scale database (Big Data) on the province's plant resources. This database will be crucial for future study, research, and further development.

Furthermore, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan is preparing to integrate its work with Suranaree University of Technology, jointly conducting fieldwork to study and research local plant resources. The aim is to apply academic knowledge to create added value and develop products from the bio-resources of each area, thereby promoting the grassroots economy and generating sustainable income for communities.
This collaboration is also part of Nakhon Ratchasima province's preparations to showcase its biodiversity and local plant resources to the international community at the Nakhon Ratchasima International Horticultural Exposition in 2572. The creation of a local plant database and research and development of biological resources will be key mechanisms in positioning Nakhon Ratchasima as a regional hub of knowledge on plants and biodiversity.
This proactive initiative marks a significant step in the collaboration between educational institutions and local administrative organizations in conserving and utilizing natural resources in a balanced manner, while simultaneously fostering sustainable economic and social development in Nakhon Ratchasima province for the future.
