The President of RMUTI presided over the certificate presentation ceremony and praised the students for bringing prestige to the university in the TRRN Railway Challenge 2026 competition.

         On March 11, 2569, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan by Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon, President of RMUTI He presided over the certificate presentation ceremony for students and their advisors who brought prestige to RMUTI through their achievements in the TRRN Railway Challenge 2026 national electric locomotive design competition. The ceremony was held at the Royal Project Plant Genetic Conservation Center, Sikhiu District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, from February 13-15, 2569. University administrators, faculty, and staff were present to congratulate and encourage the students. Assistant Professor Chuchai T. Siriwatana, RMUTI's advisor on electric vehicles., Professor Thanin Rabiabpho, Assistant Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Cherdsak Sukshiripattanapong, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology., Associate Professor Dr. Apichit Khamphala, Dean of the Faculty of Railway Systems and Transportation Organized by the Student Affairs Division, led by... Assistant Professor Sorawit T.Siriwattana, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations The objectives and background of the competition were explained, followed by the certificate presentation ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with joy and pride among the students, team supervisors, and participants at the Rail and Aerospace Systems Education Center building, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. 

          in this regard Mr. Suebsak Sirichinda, President of the Parent-Teacher Association, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Nakhon Ratchasima. A grant of 20,000 baht was provided to support the electric locomotive design competition. Assistant Professor Chuchai T. Siriwatana, advisor to the Takorai Technology Alumni Association, represented the association president. Mr. Phon Phicharn, Managing Director of Grandwork Interior (Thailand) Co., Ltd., also donated 10,000 baht each to the TAKORAI Railway team and the Dek Rang Na Ja team. Students and their advisors who brought prestige to RMUTI in the national electric locomotive design competition, TRRN Railway Challenge 2026, included:

          1. Team Dek Rang Na Ja Students from the Higher Vocational Certificate (HVC) program in Rail Transport System Technology and the Electronics Technology program at the College of Vocational Innovation, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, won first place and the first place trophy in the competition. They also won the Presentation Challenge – Grand Award and First Prize in the Design Challenge, Innovation Challenge, CAD Challenge, and Traction Challenge categories, as well as second runner-up in the Energy Consumption Challenge and Poster Challenge. The team consisted of 14 members.

          2. TAKORAI RAILWAY Team Participating in the competition for the second consecutive year, the team won 7 awards, including 1st place in the Ride Comfort Challenge, Punctuality Challenge, and Technical Poster Challenge; 1st runner-up in the Energy Consumption Challenge; and 2nd runner-up in the CAD Challenge and Design Challenge. They also secured 2nd runner-up overall points in the TRRN Railway Challenge 2026 electric locomotive design competition. The team consisted of 21 members.
