RMUTI joins the opening ceremony of “OTOP MIDYEAR 2025” and sets up a booth to sell products from the project to promote online transactions for communities.

On June 9, 2568, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan by Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon RMUTI President assigned Mrs. Sopida Sampattikorn ,Ph.D. Assistant Rector, together with Friends in Need (PA) Volunteer Foundation in Hard Times, Thai Red Cross Society and Electronic Transactions Development Agency or ETDA  Introducing products from entrepreneurs who have registered as social enterprises “Yai Siri” and products from the project to promote online transactions for communities. Participate in the booth and exhibition to disseminate research results at the event "OTOP MIDYEAR 2025” Under the concept of "OTOP, Modern, Sustainable Thai Economy" between 7 - 15 June 2568 at Challenger Hall, Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, with Miss Paetongthan Shinawatra The Prime Minister presided over the opening ceremony.

For the project to promote online transactions for communities, established in 2563, the objective is to develop the potential of communities in flood-prone areas and communities that have experienced floods to have knowledge in selling products through online channels and e-marketplace platforms such as Shopee to create sustainable income and quality of life. The foundation, together with network partners, includes the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) and university networks, including: Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Chiang Mai University, Prince of Songkla University and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

Later in 2565, the foundation expanded its cooperation with the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior, to bring products from communities under the project to be displayed and sold at the annual OTOP event to increase public relations channels and sales to the community. In addition, the income from sales returns directly to the community.
