These participants were entrepreneurs from various regions across the country who underwent intensive five-day training in electric vehicle maintenance from March 2-6, 2026, at the RMUTI-CHELOVE EV TRAINING CENTER, Electric Vehicle Institute, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Nakhon Ratchasima.

National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) To develop the skills of personnel and entrepreneurs to adapt to the transition of the automotive industry to the era of electric vehicles (EVs), which is one of the country's key target industries.

Assistant Professor Dr. Anek Charoenpakdee The Vice President for Strategy, Policy and Planning, overseeing the electric vehicle strategy, emphasized the importance of developing human resources in the electric vehicle sector, stating, “Rajamangala University of Technology Isan has a key mission to produce and develop highly skilled personnel who meet the needs of the country's industries, especially the rapidly growing electric vehicle industry. This training is another important step in strengthening the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs to adapt to modern automotive technology and elevate the standards of electric vehicle services in Thailand to be on par with international standards.”

Throughout the training period, participants received both theoretical knowledge and practical training from faculty and experts in electric vehicles, including: Assistant Professor Dr. Chana Yiengkamolsing Electric vehicle experts from Chiang Mai University served as the main lecturers, imparting knowledge on electric vehicle technology and operating systems. Faculty members from Rajamangala University of Technology Isan also participated as lecturers in this training program.

This involved the transfer of knowledge in both theory and practice, covering important topics such as the structure and components of electric vehicles, high-voltage electrical systems, battery systems, drive motors, inverters, the use of electric vehicle diagnostic tools, as well as safety standards in operation and proper electric vehicle maintenance guidelines. These are essential skills for developing electric vehicle service businesses in the future.
Furthermore, the project encourages trainees to apply for professional certification tests in electric vehicles with relevant agencies, in order to concretely push employers into the labor skill standard system, and to upgrade the capabilities of Thai auto repair shops to accommodate electric vehicle technology to a high standard and safely. To date, the project has conducted training courses in electric vehicle maintenance for three cohorts.

- The 3rd edition was held at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
This has resulted in over 70 people completing the training, mostly owners of automotive repair shops and personnel from the automotive industry nationwide. They are a vital force in transferring knowledge on electric vehicle maintenance and helping to elevate the standards of electric vehicle services in Thailand. This project reflects the role of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan in driving the development of highly skilled human resources to support the country's future industries, while also supporting the growth of Thailand's electric vehicle ecosystem – a key mechanism for propelling Thailand towards a sustainable innovation and technology-based economy.
