Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon The President of RMUTI (Regional University of Technology Thonburi) opened the gates to welcome new students for the 2026 academic year. The first day of registration and dormitory stays saw over 2,000 first-year students moving into the university dorms. The atmosphere was lively and warm, amidst the joy of parents and new students as they stepped into university life.
Throughout the day, senior student volunteers, staff, and university personnel welcomed students, assisted with registration, helped carry luggage, and escorted them to their dormitories. This created a positive impression on parents and new students from the very first step into the Kasetsart University family.
The university has scheduled dormitory check-in over three days to facilitate the process and reduce overcrowding. June 9, 2026, is for new students from the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Rail and Transportation Systems, and the Faculty of Architecture and Creative Arts. June 10, 2026, is for new students from the Faculty of Agricultural Innovation and Technology and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Finally, June 11, 2026, is for new students from the Faculty of Science and Arts.
Rajamangala University of Technology Isan has a policy to develop student dormitories into a “Living, Learning, and Caring Center,” aiming to make them more than just places to live. The goal is for the dormitories to be a space for learning, potential development, and gaining life experiences within the university. This is achieved through activities that enhance knowledge, professional skills, and life skills, shaping students into practical graduates with knowledge, abilities, morality, ethics, and soft skills. These graduates will be able to adapt, work collaboratively, and live happily in society—a crucial foundation for becoming a vital force for the country in the future.
