June 9, 2569 Associate Professor Dr. Kosit Sriputhon The President of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan has assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Anek Charoenpakdee The Vice President for Strategy, Policy and Planning, overseeing the Roi Et Campus at Thung Kula Rong Hai and the promotion of the electric vehicle strategy, presided over the orientation program for new students and the parent meeting for the academic year 2569 at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Roi Et Campus Project at Thung Kula Rong Hai (Benjakham Center), Suwannaphum District, Roi Et Province.
In this there is Professor Dr. Prachuap Inrawong Assistant to the President and Director of the Electric Vehicle Institute. Teacher Suban Thumma Assistant to the President Assistant Professor Dr. Tinnakorn Phuwadin Deputy Director of the Electric Vehicle Institute, in charge of administration and planning. Assistant Professor Dr. Rungphet Kongnok The Deputy Director of the Electric Vehicle Institute for Student Affairs and Special Projects, faculty members, staff, new students, and parents all participated in the event.
The event was organized to prepare students for university studies and life, and to foster mutual understanding between the university, students, and parents. It included introductions to the staff of the Roi Et campus in Thung Kula Rong Hai, explanations of the teaching and learning approach, the quality assurance system, student development activities, welfare services, and information on using the campus facilities and daily life within the university.
The 2026 academic year marks the first year of classes at the Roi Et campus in the Thung Kula Rong Hai area. Two programs will be offered: a New Energy Automotive Engineering (Continuing Education) program developed by the RMUTI Electric Vehicle Institute, designed for vocational diploma graduates in industrial engineering, to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree; and an Agricultural Innovation program, aiming to produce skilled personnel in agricultural technology and innovation to support the development of modern agricultural industries in Roi Et province and the Northeast region.
This initiative reflects Rajamangala University of Technology Isan's commitment to expanding educational opportunities, developing highly skilled human resources, and driving strategies in electric vehicles and agricultural technology to support the sustainable development of the country's future economy and industries.
