The Plant Sciences Department, Faculty of Innovation, RMUTI, led students from the New Generation Graduates Project, 1st Generation, to attend training under the course “Safe Plant Production in Smart Farming Systems for Entrepreneurs”.

On October 5, 2567, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, represented by Associate Professor Dr. Khosit Sriphuthon, President of RMUTI, assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Dueanphen Wongson, Head of the Plant Science Program, Faculty of Agricultural Innovation and Technology and Curriculum Chair of the New Generation Graduate Program to Create High-Competency Workforce for the New Growth Engine Industry in accordance with the Thailand 4.0 Policy and the Reform of Thai Higher Education, to lead 1 students in the first batch of the curriculum program (Module 1) to receive learning, training and listen to lectures from speakers of the establishment according to the educational cooperation agreement (MOU) during October 40-5, 6 at Freshville Farm, Samut Prakan Province.

For the New Generation Graduate Project to create high-performance workforce for the New Growth Engine industry according to the Thailand 4.0 policy and the reform of Thai higher education, the “Safe Plant Production in Smart Agriculture Systems for Entrepreneurs” course has been opened as a certificate course in “Safe Plant Production in Smart Agriculture Systems for Entrepreneurs”. A short-term knowledge and skills enhancement course (Microcredential /nano-credential) has been developed, focusing on developing knowledge and skills in safe agriculture or organic agriculture and smart agriculture. After completing the course, learners can apply it to real work or apply both theoretical and practical knowledge to their own business or farm. In addition, the course has a short study period, can respond to the development of skills of people of all ages, and can accumulate credits to transfer to formal education to apply for a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Innovation and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan.
