RMUTI History Rajamangala University of technology Isan  was established depending on Rajamangala University of Technology Act 2548. According to Section 36 of National Education Act 2542, prescribed government education institution where provides degrees are to be juristic person. It is unable to run their own developing administration and management independently and freedom in academic under the supervision of university council. Thus, it is appropriate to establish 9 sites of Rajamangala University of Technology instead of Rajamangala Institute of Technology. Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) is one among 9 Rajamangala where focuses on profession and technology. Its purposes are academic providing, academic promoting and high profession emphasizing on practice, instruction, research, produce industrial technical education, academic service in sciences and technologies, maintain arts and cultures, and providing opportunities for students finish their vocational education to their degree levels.

– On February 27, 2518, Institute of Technology and Vocational Education Act was announced on Government Gazette, Special Volume 92, Section 48, Page 1.

– On July 16, 2527, Institute of Technology was offered from The Treasury Department for the land located at Klong 706 th , west side, Klong Luang District, Pathum Thani. The Title deed is 610 consists of 3-41-39 Rai and north Rangsit, Thunyaburi, Pathum Thani which is 109 consists of 3-04-XNUMX for constructing the center of degree education.

– In 2528, There were expending bachelor degrees at campuses.

– On September 15, 2531, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej His Majesty was graciously pleased to His Majesty the King named the College of Technology and Vocational Education as "Rajamangala Institute of Technology" and royal permission to invite The royal seal and Phra Maha Phichai Mongkut are the official symbols of the institute.

– On January 8, 2548, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Yu Hua signed the King's name. in the Rajamangala University of Technology Act and published in the Government Gazette, Volume 122, Part 6a, dated 18 January B.E. As a result, there are 2548 Rajamangala University of Technology.

Rajamangala University of Technology Isan consists of 5 campuses scattered throughout the northeastern region of Thailand.

Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Nakhon Ratchasima consists of 4 faculties such as:

– Faculty of Engineering and Architecture
– Faculty of Fine Arts and Industrial Design
